Success statistics of secondary school graduates

Masaryk University sent information about the success statistics of the secondary school graduates to the particular partner schools based on the students’ results of an entrance examination at the Masaryk University for the academic year 2006/2007.

For a fair comparison the partner schools also received the statistics of the entrance examination results of all university candidates. The second part of the feedback contained the total number of graduates of the partner school who are currently studying at the Masaryk University. This also served as a basis for comparison and information related to the total number of current university students (divided according to the faculties). The data provided was greatly appreciated by the secondary schools.

The Presentations of Masaryk University Students at Secondary Schools

Masaryk University students presented information in pairs about their university studies to the partner schools. They talked about the structure of the university as well as the academic fields. The students chosen for these presentations were graduates of the particular secondary school. As they knew the environment well they were able to react aptly to the questions raised by the secondary school students. Every university student represented a different faculty of the university, enabling them to provide the secondary school students with information about more faculties at the same time.
