• 2004: Ph.D. in Informatics at Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno, PhD thesis "Generic Rendering Architecture".
• 2007: RNDr. in Informatics at Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno, thesis "Software Architectures in Computer Graphics".

• Since 2004: Assistant professor at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno.
• Since 1997: Network administrator at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University in Brno.

• Lectures in the area of Java programming, UML modeling and Software Engineering.

• Member of the Laboratory of Searching and Dialogue. Research in the area of dialogue-based assistive technologies, accessibility of graphics and e-learning.
