Josef Hladký (1931-2008)

Prof. PhDr. Josef Hladký, CSc. (1931-2008), associate professor at the Faculty of Arts (History of English literature) since 1984, professor (English language) since 1997. Dean of the Faculty of Arts 1990-1994. For many years Head of the Department of English and American Studies at the MU Faculty of Arts. His scholarly interests included lexicology, lexicography, and the history of the English language.
