The first year of the Science for Society conference took place on Wednesday, May 12. This year was focused on the role of the University in society during crises. Experts, scientists and top managers who have played a significant role in managing the coronavirus pandemic gave a lecture. Daniel Stach moderated the conference including the dicsussion sessions. Grants Submitted
ERC-StG-2021: 6 MU proposals (2 SCI, 1 CEITEC, 1 FI, 1 FSS, 1 MED) were submitted (deadline April 12, 2021), a total of 4,056 applications were submitted to this call (24% increase compared to the previous call), it is expected that 413 projects will be supported.
ERC CoG: 5 MU proposals (2 ARTS, 2 SCI, 1 CEITEC) were submitted (deadline April 20, 2021).
Open Calls
- The Call aims to support international cooperation in basic research and is opened to applicants at any stage of their career (bilateral/trilateral cooperation with Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland).

- On March 15, the 4th Call has been announced. The international call focuses on materials research and inovations in applied research.

- On May 12, the 3th Call has been announced. (Deadline for proposal submission is July 14, 2021). The call is aimed at supporting international cooperation in the field of applied research.

- On April 14, the 3th Call has been announced. (Deadline for proposal submission is June 16, 2021). The aim is to develop the transport sector in a way that will reflect societal needs, accelerate the technological and knowledge development of the Czech Republic and thus help grow the competitiveness of the Czech Republic.
