| Description | The article's author shows the dependence of Hus's Antichrist concept in sermons and in letters mainly on Hus's effort to reform the church and on his moralism. Through the statements about Antichrist Hus wants to get the man to the considerations about the impact of human behaviour on posthumous destiny and thanks to that to the right cure about the earthly life. The theme of Antichrist works as a message of the current morality together with its critique, thanks to the unambiguous connection with the end of the history as a message of so far unprecedented urgency, with what it is necessary to do something, and thanks to Hus's sermons and the situation in society also as the means of agitation and to some extent as the threat. |
