| Description | The Article deals with the tradition of Russian fairy tales and reflections in the Czech Republic. It is based on textual analysis of the Czech translations of Russian folk tales, specifically on a detailed analysis of translated tales Vasilisa Prekrasnaja (The Beautiful Vasilisa) in various recent editions. As a result, the study proved that the differences between current and past translations of translators are not arbitrary, as it might seem, but based on different variants of the Russian folk tale. |
