Data set: Survey was focused on male population in Czech Republic and Belgium. Overall number of respondents was 88 (Czech Rep. - 50, Belgium - 38). Methodology: Research of the overall awareness about modern contraception was conducted quantitatively in the form of survey addressed to respondents in the Czech Republic and Belgium. Results: This research shows fact, that knowledge and overall awareness of Czech and Belgian men in the issue of contraception is not sufficient enough and there is no significant difference in the awareness about this area within male population in both mentioned countries. The main difference was declared at the level of involvement and participation of man in decision-making related to contraceptive method used and also sources of information reported in the studied samples of the male population. Belgians reported literature as the most common source of information. Czech man reported their partner as a source of information.
