| Description | The article focuses on introducing representative problems of Czech-Polish sport terminology. The aim is to show that in these two languages, there is a different extent of representation of domestic expressions and borrowed expressions from other languages. Moreover, as demonstrated with examples of football and ice hockey terminology, there is also a different scope of meaning of these expressions which can complicate the choice of appropriate equivalent while translating. |
