Description Milk and milk products make up a substantial part of the diet, and therefore it is no exception that they are the subject of much research. No other food group has so many opposing views, both supporters and detractors. Perhaps that is why milk and milk products are surrounded by the largest number of these myths. These can contribute to reducing the trustworthiness of these foods as important carriers of beneficial nutrients, especially calcium, and ultimately reduce their intake. A questionnaire survey was conducted among students (n=352) of the Faculty of Medicine of the Masaryk University in Brno. The aim of the survey was to map students' attitudes and knowledge about milk and milk products, focusing on myths about this food group.
