| Description | Flóra Slovenska VI/2, Volume 1 is the 17th volume of the monographic edition Flóra Slovenska, which presents the results of basic research on plant diversity in Slovakia. It contains a taxonomic-chrological treatment of 179 species and 30 hybrids belonging to 53 genera and five families (Anthemideae, Astereae, Calenduleae, Gnaphalieae, Senecioneae) of the family Asteraceae. Each taxon (genus, species, subspecies or hybrid) is characterised in terms of nomenclature, morphology, karyology, biology, ecology, phytocenology, performance, conservation and distribution in the world and in Slovakia. The work includes detailed identification keys, distribution maps of 103 taxa in Slovakia and pictorial tables with illustrations of 183 taxa. |
