| Description | In "Über Sinn und Bedeutung" Frege exposed his famous theory of meaning consisting in differentiation of meaning (Bedeutung) and sense (Sinn). Distinction between meaning and sense (as two kinds of meaning) enables us satisfactory solution of the identity statements and the avoiding of "paradox of analysis" as well ("paradox of omniscience" remind unresolved). Unfortunately, unfitting consequences from this theory have arisen, mainly meaning ambiguity of every word (dependence on context) and doubtful analysis of propositional attitudes. |
