Description | The European widw-dispered programme has been accepted also in Czech republic among 261 of fourteen-aged children from 13 classes (6 school).The Czech program Our class does not smoke has adopted the unified rules : signed voluntary agreement of everybody within the class, fourmonths abstinence. One third (31 %) of all classes were fully successful, as all students reposted no-smoking during the measured period abstinence.At another 23 % of classes the number of smokers has decreased, and at 23 % classes the number of smokers has kept on the same level; at 23 % of classes the number of smokers has increased. The final prevalence of current smokers (10,3 % ) was on the only third level of that of whole Czech 15-year-old population (29,7 %).Programme successfully influenced children smoking behaviour. |
