| Description | Author analyzes the attempts of polish historians to identify placenames in so called Dagome iudex-charter (985-992). He demonstrates the importance of "Vorverstehen" (unarticulated premises) for the formulation of hypothesis in likely "neutral" "Quellenkunde" and high flexibility by formulating different conclusions from the same thesis. |
