| Description | This chapter deals with fundamental principles of criminal liability and with the system of criminal law sanctions in the Czech Criminal law. The author brings out conception of a crime and analyses the system of punishments and protective measures. She deals also with the fundamental principles of punishment and sentencing guidelines. In her opinion, present system of legal sanctions in the Czech criminal law provides sufficient means to attain the purpose of the Criminal Code. However, the futher development of the criminal law sanctions in connection with new codification is presupposed. |
