Description The current demographic behaviour of the Czech Republic citizens reflects the social and political changes of the beginning of the Nineteen Nineties. The paper analyzes the data related to the level of the education achieved and how it influences selected demographical pointers. The analyses show that although the education influences the demographic behaviour, its influence is not as substantial as one may assume. It’s obvious that the level of education of the population living in the Czech Republic territory is constantly increasing. With the raising amount of the people with university education, the amount of marriages between the university-educated people increases too, but also does the amount of their divorces. The growth of live births to university-educated mothers is substantial.
