Utilization of trypan blue in surgery of idiopathic full thickness macular hole

| Popis | The aim of presentation was to verify efficiency of surgical treatment of idiopathic macular hole using pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) with peeling of internal limiting membrane (ILM) and gas tamponade with 15% perfluoropropan. All 12 patients submitted to standard PPV with peeling of posterior hyaloid. Then we performed peeling of stained ILM in macular region and tamponade with 15% perfluoropropan. Preoperative best corrected visual acuity was 0.98 logMAR, postoperative than 0.77 logMAR. |
