The Undergraduate Awards is the world's largest international academic awards programme, recognising innovation and excellence at undergraduate level. Cited as the ultimate champion for high-potential undergraduates, UA identifies leading creative thinkers through their undergraduate coursework and provides top performing students with the support, network and opportunities they require to raise their profiles and further their career paths.
What is UA?
The Undergraduate Awards is a pan-discipline academic awards programme, that aims to celebrate the work of undergraduate students around the world. Last year UA received over 5,500 students from 121 different nationalities.
How to Submit
You have already done the work so now submit it to UA! UA is open to all students in the class of 2016, 2017, 2018. We have 25 different categories for students of all disciplines. Fill out the form on our website and upload your paper. Make sure to read the strict criteria.
The Prize
The winner’s paper is published in The Undergraduate Journal and they receive a gold medal present at the all-expenses-paid trip to the exclusive UA Global Summit, in Dublin. Students in the top 10% of each category are recognised as Highly Commended Entrants. This award is a potential catalyst when pursuing further studies or your chosen career.
The Undergraduate Awards is open to
- undergraduate students in their penultimate year of a degree course
- undergraduate students in their final year of a degree course
- recent graduates less than one year out of their degree course (submitting work completed as an undergraduate)
The Undergraduate Awards accepts
- corrected undergraduate coursework – written assignment, project, paper, thesis
- individual work – sorry, no group submissions
- academic work, with references, bibliography etc
- corrected work that received a II.1 or higher (A-grade equivalent)
- Entirely anonymous and within the specified word limit of each category
