| Popis | This paper intends to outline the development of the diary as a kind of autobiographical literature in Portugal of the 20th century. Although diary writing is not remarkably rich or traditional in Portugal, it is also not negligible, especially in the second half of the 20th century is growing in importance. The chosen examples will show the different stages and styles. The contribution is a partial outcome of the forthcoming Ph.D. thesis focused on the topic of literary creation in Miguel Torgas Diary. |
