| Popis | The lecture aims to familiarize the audience with the lesser-known aspects of the history of guerrilla resistance in the Upper Nitra region during World War II. In addition to the clarification of the general context and outlining relevant regional specifics of the area north of town Prievidza, the contribution focuses on particular activities of specific guerrilla groups, which were active there. The great emphasis is put on Partisan group Žiar, also as an example of various aspects of post-war interpretation of partisan resistance. |
