| Popis | In two heavy minerals samples collected from the Zlatý důl stream, which is the right-side tributary of the Bystřice River, mostly ore minerals (pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena) and garnets were found. Accessory minerals found in the samples were zircon, amphibole, epidote, tourmaline, staurolite and monazite. A lot of particles of anthropogenic origin occurred in those samples - glassy ”spherules“ and fragments of a Pb-Sn alloy. Corundum was found as a subangular grain, which has dark blue colour and zonal structure. In addition to main component – Al, microprobe analysis showed also trace amounts of Ti, Fe, Cr and Ba (? 0.56 wt. % of their oxides). Ti-rich magnetite inclusions enclosed in corundum have irregular shape and contain 63.0 mol. % magnetite, 36.2 mol. % ulvöspinel, 0.4 mol % coulsonite, 0.2 mol. % chromite and 0.2 mol. % hercynite. Alkali basalt, lamprophyre or Culmian greywacke are probably the likely source rock of this corundum. |
