Popis | The state of Israel had support from European nations and the United States of America when it was created. Such unity of intent is no longer present. While the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and related peace proposals have created a popular perception of a distinct preference. Can such attitudes be objectively explained in policy language and polling data and how distinct are said differences? Moreover, is the reality a truthful representation of collective European opinion? This author intends to investigate in a comparative analysis the shift in European attitudes towards the state of Israel vis-a-vie that of the United States. |
