| Popis | Our contemporary society is going through a dynamic development at all levels, one of which is information technology. Without any exaggeration we can say that information technologies have grown throughout the entire society. We now cannot imagine the whole system working without it. Actually there are only a few areas which remain untouched by information technology (hereinafter referred to as IT) till today. Terms such as globalisation, network society, digital and post-digital era, new media and others are growing in popularity. But how do society, its educational system, and social sciences react to such changes? What is the status quo of art education and its methods in a time of dynamic development of information technologies and new media? And, conversely, what does the integration of art and visual education in universities of technology offer? |
