| Popis | In the conference presentation "The Reluctant Advocate: Political Essays of E.M. Forster" I offered a cross section of the 1930s and 1940s political essays of E.M. Forster and situated them within the wider body of literature on the topic produced by his contemporaries. The essays in question were collected in Two Cheers for Democracy and published in 1951, but they remain relevant in what they advocate even in our time. |
