| Popis | Cytoskeleton and ultrastructure was studied in human fungal pathogens Cryptococcus neoformans and Aureobasidium pullulans. The results showed rich well developed cytoskeleton in Cryptococcus neoformans resembling that of ascomycetous yeasts in contrast to Aureobasidium pullulans that had rich network of microtubules. However, actin cytoskeleton was deficient and no actin cables were detected. Deficient actin cytoskeleton and rich microtubules may result in polymorphism in A. pullulans |
