| Popis | One of the chronic venous insufficiency manifestations is the alteration of skin appendages, including dystrophic changes in the nails. We followed the occurrence of onychomycosis in the lower limbs of patients suffering from chronic venous insufficiency during a certain period of time. Changes in nails were observed in 239 of 413 patients (57.9%), microscopic examination of the material delivered was positive in 147 patients (61.5%), cultivation was positive in 98 patients (41.0%). |
