Popis | This qualitative research study on the experience of the trainees of psychotherapy training was conducted according to grounded theory methodology. 11 in-depth interviews were conducted with the future trainees (who had already been admitted into the training) of the Training in psychotherapy integration (TPI). Every interview began with the question: „How is it for you to be before the beginning of this training?“ with the goal to examin the feelings and motivation of the trainees as well as the process of decision making related to entering the training. Results describe the main category called Gaining certainty, which expresses the process of gaining and letting go the certainty. The category describes the posibility to move within listed dimensions : The first - To gain the certainty and the need for latitude. The second - Thorougness and and ability to let flow, which describes the movement between thoroughness as going deeply in searching for information about the mode and training (being more analytic ) and having control about the process of decision making. While the other pole expresses the proficiency to stop thinking about, to let it develop by itself, to rely on the fate for example. We can recognise the dimension more deeply through 4 phases and 8 ways of gaining certainty. |
