Professor Jennifer R. Brown has a long-standing collaboration with Masaryk University scientists in the field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, particularly in the areas of pathophysiology, prognostic factors and treatment of this disease with targeted drugs. This long-standing cooperation with the research groups of Prof. Marek Mraz and Prof. Šárka Pospíšilová, as well as cooperation in the field of clinical studies, have brought the amazing results published in the most prestigious journals. In addition, Prof. Jennifer R. Brown actively participates in professional conferences organized by experts from Masaryk University, as the Czech Group for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia conference, the European Research Group for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia conference etc.

A proposal to grant an honorary degree of Doctor Honoris Causa in the field of Medical Sciences was submitted by the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. The graduation ceremony was held on 27 March 2025.
