Price List of uniform fees and contractual penalties of the MU Library System

A) Registration fees

300 CZK / year – for the first registration (including the issuance of a reader's card) 200 CZK / year – for repeated registration 100 CZK – issuance of a replacement card |
The obligation to pay the registration fee does not apply to MU alumni who present their MU Alumni Card at registration and to members of the MU Alumni and Friends Association.
B) Contractual penalties for delay
The contractual penalty is determined irrespective of whether or not the delay in returning the library item is the fault of the user and irrespective of whether and in what amount MU incurs damage that can be recovered separately.
The amount of the contractual penalty is determined according to the category of the borrowed document for each overdue library unit uniformly for all categories of users.

C) Other fees and services
Faculty libraries and libraries of other MU units may charge additional fees for specific services according to the price list included in the operating rules of the respective MU library.
Notes:
1) Registration fees are exempt from VAT.
2) Overdue contractual fines are not subject to VAT.
3) Loan periods for individual categories of documents are set out in the operating rules of MU libraries.
