Assessment of the study, prospects and career path by MU graduates
Assessment of studies and career prospects of recent MU graduates
The questionnaire survey "Completion of studies at MU - Reflection and Perspective" is carried out in the period when MU students are finishing their Master's studies at MU and preparing for their transition to professional practice. The survey was first conducted in 1994 and has been running annually since then. The long history of the survey allows us to track the development of selected indicators over time, e.g. overall satisfaction with studies at MU, the proportion of graduates in employment at the time of graduation, etc.
The survey focuses on full-time Master's graduates and addresses the following thematic areas:
- employment situation of graduates at the time of graduation,
- labour market entry strategies,
- graduates' job prospects,
- employment activity during studies,
- interest in working abroad,
- evaluation of selected components of study at MU,
- other relevant information.
Work experience of MU graduates two to three years after graduation
The aim of the survey "Practical Employment of MU Graduates" is to understand what opportunities the labour market offers to graduates and to what extent studying at Masaryk University has created the prerequisites for successful entry into practice. The target group is full-time Master's graduates who have already had two to three years of experience in practice. The survey was conducted for the first time in 1996 and is carried out in two-year cycles.
The survey focuses on the following themes:
- current placement of graduates,
- the circumstances of getting a first job after graduation,
- the move of graduates on the labour market,
- assessment of first and current employment,
- assessment of selected components of study at MU,
- other selected information.
