Career opportunities

Graduates will find employment especially in those workplaces where spatial data visualization is used. From the point of view of the labour market, these are mainly specialist cartographer and independent cartographer positions. Namely, these are mainly segments of the labour market including: state and local government offices at municipal, regional and national level; non-state project, advisory and consulting agencies focused on, for example, the creation of strategic plans and services related to the design of effective spatial locations. A significant number of graduates also find employment in the private sector, in the entire cycle of geographic data use, from collection (CEDA, TopGIS), through storage and analysis (CleverMaps, Assecco) to visualization and presentation (EnviroPartner, Hexagon).
