What will you learn?
The proposed study program aims to prepare qualified staff for the profession in the financial and capital markets, banking, insurance, financial departments of commercial subjects, independent accountants, tax specialists and future auditors. An important goal of the study program is also the preparation of persons who are subject of regulatory requirements in the field of financial services distribution. The aim of the study is to acquire the key theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills required by employers themselves in this field, but also by regulatory authorities often requiring the demonstration of the necessary knowledge, competences and practical skills in the form of relevant professional examinations. Successful graduates of the proposed program will thus be able to take up positions requiring such examinations smoothly, as the study program prepares them for them without the need for further long-term training, as is often the case when employers are forced to recruit less qualified workers first then train them at their own expense in order to meet the qualification requirements for the pursuit of professions in the field of capital market business, tax consultancy, audit, corporate financial management and financial analysis. In elective courses, students will be able to profile their professional profile in relation to their individual needs and the needs of the positions in which they plan to pursue their careers in the future.
“Financial plans, accounting, taxes - you will learn how to deal with them.”
Practical training
Practice will be a mandatory part of the curriculum. In accordance with Government Regulation No. 274/2016 Coll. the time spent on practice will be 12 weeks. The content of practice will concern the content of the study, its content will be determined at the beginning of the relevant semester and approved by the guarantor of the course Practice, and should appropriately support the elaboration of the final thesis. Given the above-mentioned time allocation of practice, it will correspond to a credit grant of 16 credits. The placement of the subject of practice will be recommended in the second half of the study plan so that it suitably complements the choice and elaboration of the topic of the final thesis.
