MU holds Czech Cooking Class for foreigners from virtual winter schools
How do you bake Czech bread and cook kulajda, a traditional Czech soup? Students at this year’s virtual winter schools organized by MU got to find out at an hour-long cooking workshop.

New Zealand student takes part in two virtual schools at Masaryk
Malina Grube, a law student from the University of Auckland, took part in a virtual summer school offered by MU. She liked the programme so much that she signed up for a second one in January.

Cambodian student: I never thought I’d stay in Brno
An interesting study programme, a university town in the heart of Europe, and above all lots of IT companies all in one place. These are the things that drew Cambodian student Kanitha Chim to do her master’s degree in Brno at MU’s Faculty of Informatics.

Studying at Masaryk has been a thrill, say Belarusian students
Belarusian students Aryna Rabtsava and Uladzislau Zybrykau first met while studying medicine in Vitebsk. In January they moved to Brno to study thanks to a special scholarship programme.

Admission requirements
The result of the admission process depends on the quality of the provided documents:
- statement of purpose in English
- a document demonstrating English-language skills
- transcript of secondary school studies
- secondary school certificate
- ID or passport copy
- some study fields require also an essay or recommendation letters
Applications will be reviewed by the admission committee and students who pass the first round will be invited for an online interview. Further details can be found on the faculty website.
