MU traffic-light system will remain at white light rating
On its meeting held on Monday, 23 August 2021, the MU Crisis Board decided that Masaryk University will remain at the WHITE LIGHT (lowest) rating of its traffic-light system. A review of the system’s readiness for a possible worsening of the situation is currently underway.
The MU Crisis Board also discussed issues related to the arrival of international students, including their accommodation in MU dormitories. International students will stay in their dormitories for the period of mandatory self-isolation upon arrival, and the ISKAM system will be used to record vaccinations and test results.
The timetable for the academic year and its start on 13 September 2021 remains unchanged. Planned academic ceremonies will be organised in accordance with government health orders. MU will renew its cooperation with the Podané ruce (Helping Hands) organisation to ensure proper testing in compliance with applicable government orders.
Staff will be asked to update information on completed vaccinations in the Covid-19 Prevention application in INET.
The next meeting of the MU Crisis Board is expected before the start of the semester.
