MUNI dormitories: Students can check-out remotely. They get 70 percent discount
Masaryk University will help students who live at dormitories and who are affected by the current restrictions on movement and interruption of contact teaching. All these students will be able to check-out and move their belongings by April 11 or use the so-called remote technical check-out by e-mail by April 11. Students who want to stay in the dormitory can continue to do so under standard conditions.
Students who cannot come to their rooms personally due to free movement restrictions and cannot or do not want to do so can have classmates, or other close persons, or volunteers coordinated by the Students' Chamber of MU Academic Senate and by Dormitory Councils, MU Accommodation and Catering Services offers the possibility of keeping their belongings in sealed rooms. In this case, students will get a 70 percent discount on the regular dormitory price. It will cover the period from 1 April to 18 May 2020, with the possibility of extending it until 30 June 2020, however, these students will have no access to the dormitory.
Students participating in volunteer activities in dealing with the crisis caused by the epidemic will receive the same discount from the dormitory.
