Rector updated the special measure
16.00: After the announcement of the state of emergency by the Government of the Czech Republic, MU Rector Martin Bareš proceeded to update the special measure.
Newly, clinical and practical teaching and practice at the Faculty of Medicine of MU will be permitted, the scope of which will be determined by the Dean. Starting next week, only students of the 6th year of General Medicine and the 5th year of Dentistry will be available for clinical pre-graduate internships.
At the same time, assistant practice of tutoring in families at the Faculty of Education will be allowed. The scope is determined by the Dean. The students concerned will in all cases be informed by e-mail.
In connection with government measures, some other measures and recommendations within the university were updated. The Academic restaurant will be closed at the Bohunice campus from 6th March from 6.00 am, other canteens remain in operation.
Deans of faculties can newly allow individual personal consultations and individual personal examinations.
There is also a new option to arrange a “home office” or vacation with all employees over the age of 70 (regardless of whether the employees are returning from their travels or have had a risky contact) and with all pregnant workers.
