The aim of the project is to study relations among value orientations, choice of goals, their realization and life satisfaction. The issue will be studied on a theoretical background of telic theories of well-being and general theories of action. While creating the satisfaction model, influences of personality, both in cognitive and emotional (temperament) areas will be acknowledged. The relations will be studied on contemporary adolescent population. Several models of causal relation between the assumed influences (personality, values, goals) and life satisfaction will be created. The created models will be assessed through the method of structural analysis which enables us to determine correspondence between the various models of causal relations and the data. Value orientations will be created on the basis of empirical typology.
