Recently, the Internet technologies bring basic technical instruments for development of infrastructure for distributed object communication on the Internet. The ideal means for description, design and implementation of open systems in global networks ar e XML-based languages together with support of RDF standard meta-data framework. The goal of this project is to analyse suitability of applying XML in description of distributed object systems based on CORBA or DCOM. As a part of analytical phase, a rese arch in suitability of today's Internet protocols for object communication in distributed environment (legacy OR brokers and HTTP servers), will be performed. Attention will be paid to applications of object communication in user agent area. The main goa l of the project is, based on the above analysis, to create a basis, platform-independent environment for description and implementation of open distributed object systems based on XML, RDF, XML Schema and RDP Schema.
