Cílem tohoto projektu je sestavit syntetickou biochemickou dráhu klonováním genů enzymů optimalizovaných proteinovýmm inženýrstvím, vedoucí ke konstrukci bakterie degradující environmentální polutant 1,2,3-trichlorpropan (TCP). Tato bakterie bude růst na TCP jako jediném zdroji uhlíku a energie.
