Objective of the project is to design data structures for dynamic generalisation of geometric features stored in GIS. This dynamic generalisation will be used for managing spatial databases and for dynamic carographic visualisation in GIS user interface. Nowadays, this area of GIS usage, is almost unsolved, but its implementation will be very useful for GIS practice. This topic is also challenge for design of the geodata clearinghouse design.
