The aim of the project is the critical analysis of the security concept of the Copenhagen school after 9/11. The second aim of the presented project is to provide a comprehensive survey of contemporary threats in the area of the Andean Community of Nations. Special attention will be devoted to the Colombian conflict and the process of its spill-over into the other states of the region. The text will be written as a study of the Andean Community's area using the empirical-analytical method, while in certain partial segments the descriptive method will be used. The multi-level approach seems to be appropriate in order to enable analysis on the state, regional as well as global level. Considering the essentiality of the interdisciplinary approach, the project will be elaborated on the niveaus of political science, international relations and the security studies.
