The project aims to increase the qualification of the future researchers, to provide sufficient number of fully qualified and research-experienced doctoral graduates and to increase the influx of excellent foreign as well as domestic experts. This will enable further development of human resources in research & development area. The objective will be reached mainly by creation of the new research-oriented doctoral programs of Media and journalism studies, Environmental studies, Clinical psychology, and by reaccreditation of the already existing research oriented doctoral programs of Sociology and Political science. The project intends to provide the doctoral students at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University (FSS MU), with skills and methodological knowledge that would increase their employability and support their next professional development. As such, the project follows the strategic plan of Masaryk university to innovate the research-oriented programs to fit better the labour market's needs and to prepare the students more effectively for their future careers. The project's main outputs will be the re-accreditation of the doctoral programs of Political science (SOC) and (POL) and the accreditation of the new doctoral programs of Media and Journalism Studies (MSZ), Clinical psychology (KP) and Environmental studies (ES). The activities supported by the project include internships of the academics and doctoral students, and participation of the foreign and domestic experts in designing the curricula and teaching methods. Emphasise will be put on increasing the expert and language competences of the academics and students. Moreover, the students' competitiveness will be increased by possibility of internships at potential employers and by other means increasing the students' employability.
