Entanglement is the cornerstone of practical applications of Quantum Information Theory (QIT). In communication, entanglement between two parties enables unconditionally secure exchange of secret keys, as well as protocols that go far beyond classical analogues, such as super-dense coding and quantum teleportation.
In this project, we aim to improve the understanding of multipartite entanglement, while simultaneously work out novel communication schemes that make use of recent experimental breakthroughs. The project is separated into three main work packages that shall synergize the expertise of the two collaborating host groups.
