Basic and applied research and development of methods for the chemical analysis of biological, geological and synthetic materials carried out by doctoral and master's students using the instrumentation of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), laser ablation (LA-ICP-MS), laser-excited spectroscopy plasma (LIBS), atomic emission spectrometry in inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES), X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (ED-XRF), mass spectrometry with various ionization techniques (MALDI-ToF-MS and others), Knudsen cell mass spectrometry and spectroscopy nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The methods will be used in imaging the spatial distribution of analytes in samples of biological tissues, rocks and minerals, in the development of anti-cancer drugs and new advanced materials (special glasses), in the study of phase equilibria of alloys and in the development of nanomaterials and their characterization. The properties of metals and alloys will be modeled using calculations.

Results

Publications in international journals with an impact factor (Web of Science), presentations at conferences, doctoral dissertations, diploma theses.
