This research focus on basic derivatives of aromatic-aliphatic ketones, especially thiosemicarbazone and semicarbazone derivatives of acetophenone and their therapeutic importance. Basic ketones and their derivatives containing an azomethine group exhibit a wide range of biological activities, including the widespread application of their metal complexes. This fact leads to the targeting of mentioned substances as potential inhibitors of aminopeptidase N and tyrosine kinase.
