More and more computer versions of widespread assessment instruments are developed and improved nowadays. However, the methodological consequences of using these computer forms in research and clinical psychology have not been investigated yet in Czech p sychology. The main aim of the proposed project is to develop computer versions of several basic assessment instruments and to explore the factors affecting both the performance of subjects and psychometric characteristics of the particular instrument by the means of comparison with conventional paper - and - pencil versions. Further we aim to try to generalise our findings and establish rules for development of new computer versions of traditional assessment instruments.
