The aim of the MSCA-DN project CaLiForNIA is to provide excellent training to a new generation of researchers in the key theoretical areas of Cartan geometry, Lie theory, and representation theory, as well as their quantum counterparts. Theoretical training will be complemented by strategic applications to Horizon Europe priority areas, in particular, quantum computing and machine learning. The diverse background of the project coordinator (PhD in Mathematics and a double major in Mathematics and Engineering) will ensure that both pure mathematics and its applications will be treated on equal grounds. in the training project for each researcher, together with a intersectorial training program. Enhancing the transferable skills training of our Doctoral Candidates (DC) each PhD project will involve intersectorial training with the excellent industries participating in our network.
