The trends in the devepolment of the paradigms of modern software architectures is oriented towards open systems based on a combination of tools taken from areas the collaboration of which was several years ago quite unusual. The technique enabling it is based on the collaboration of almost independent software applications. It enables to desing open information systems for control and management. The aims of the project : -software engineering methods and tools supporting collaborating / possibly migr ating / applications / inclusive software agents /, -optimal decomposition of objects based applications into parts residing on clients, serves, applications/agents, -methods of database computer systems and computer graphics in data mining and the des ing of agents, -comparison and/or combination of object and agent paradigms, -CASE oriented methodology of the development of open /federated/ information systems.
