Creation of authorized software usable in clinical practice for computer diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disorders of MRI brain images. The project proposal is based on experience with existing software packages that are currently used in the neuroimaging community and on its own methodology to evaluate brain morphology in first episode schizophrenia. Planned software, which is the main subject of the project will link together the complex processing and analysis methods for 3-D MRI brain images, followed by an evaluation apparatus based on the methods of recognition and machine learning. This will provide a new tool for automated analysis of image data in the field of computational neuroanatomy, which unlike existing methods, VBM and DBM in addition to the conventional comparison of patient populations and healthy controls, a new type of evaluation of classification, even in the case of individual subject analysis.
Results
The main expected outcome is an authorized software usable in clinical practice for computer diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disorders. It is also expected the publishing of the results in impact journals
