| Description | The 2011 brought a significant change in the chronic hepatitis C treatment. There is a commercial availability of new antiviral agents - telaprevir and boceprevir - in combination with PEG-IFN and ribavirin. This triple combination is significantly more effectice than the standard dual therapy both in naive (approximately 2-fold)and experienced patients (approximately 3-fold). |
