Description | We are focusing on the digitization phase, with the result of identifying two characteristic parameters of the output pulses. The first of them is usually the pulse amplitude that contains information about the transmitted particle energy to a detector. The other parameter can be the characteristic time constant of the leading or trailing edge of the pulse, whose value depends on the type of detected particles and allows distinguishing the components of mixed field made up of different types of particles. |
